Before you get to start with this method, make sure you’ve got these: Spotify Premium Account, Alexa speaker which can play Spotify music, a phone/tablet with Alexa app.
1 Connect the Alexa device
Please download the Alexa app on your phone or tablet, then launch it.
Click the “Setting” button on the left side, and then click “Music & Media” on the right side.
Then there will be a list of music streaming services (supported by Alexa) showing up. And please click “Link Account on Spotify”. Then a window will pop up next, and please click “Log In To Spotify” to link your Spotify account to Alexa.
2 Set Spotify as Default Music Service
Back to the “Setting” screen, click the “Choose default music service” button and select Spotify as the default music service.
3 Play Spotify Music on Alexa
Now you can play your Spotify songs/playlists/albums on Alexa by asking “Alex, play my......”. In the meanwhile, you can also ask Alexa to raise or lower the volume, skip to the next, repeat songs and get information about the song with other Alexa music commands.
