Step 1. Install and run NoteBurner Music One, and simply choose the "SoundCloud" module.

KlickAud is technically functional, you can download SoundCloud public tracks to MP3 without payment. The reason why it is not in the working list is the ad experience. The interface is filled with random ad banners, and clicking the download button may redirect you to another page; using an ad blocker is strongly recommended. Even after downloading MP3 files, you must watch a video ad lasting at least 30 seconds just to unlock the download feature for one hour.
"Three tracks downloaded successfully; two SoundCloud Go+ exclusive content failed to be fetched. The tool does work, but the whole experience doesn't feel safe because of excessive adverts. And the quality is inconsistent, not the promised 320 kbps. There are better free options that don't require a mandatory video commercial just to grab an MP3."

SoundCloudAud was previously listed in several converter roundups as a working option. But it did not pass my latest test in September 2026. The site loaded normally, yet it failed to recognize the SoundCloud URLs or generate an MP3 download option.
"Tried 5 different tracks, BUT not one downloaded. Clicking the download button, it does not produce any response. Skip it."
One reason is that the specific tracks you intend to download may be private or only available to SoundCloud Go+ subscribers. Another is that the tool itself isn't working properly (such as SoundCloudAud). If it isn't working, switch to an alternative (Part 2 above).
