How to use NoteBurner with Sony SonicStage to convert OMG to MP3

OMG is a kind of compressed audio file that uses Sony's OpenMG technology; based on Sony's ATRAC3 format, but also includes digital rights management DRM to prevent files from being copied illegally. Such music files can be played in almost all Sony media devices. However, even Sony PSP will need you to change its file extension before playing normally in it, let alone transferring such audio to other popular media devices, like iPod, Zune, or mobile phones. So, OMG owners, sooner or later, will consider converting these OMG files to some universal format like MP3.

Usually, such OMG owners have SonicStage installed, since that both of them are related to Sony. Considering the burning feature in SonicStage, we can use a very useful tool named NoteBurner to do this job.

Firstly, download and install NoteBurner OMG to MP3 Audio Converter from this link, run it and go to Settings menu, set MP3 as output format.

Launch SonicStage, and turn to My Library window of SonicStage. Select the OMG music you want to convert and right click on them, then go to menu Transfer To > Creating an Audio CD.
Select music in SonicStage to burn to CD

SonicStage will change to Transfer mode automatically. Please change the Drive on the right panel to NoteBurner’s drive letter, and click the red recording button to start converting:
