How to use NoteBurner Audio Converter with Foobar2000

Foobar2000 is a freeware audio player for Windows, featuring a minimalist interface. With some optional components, it can support lots of audio formats and has burning function. So, working with foobar2000, Noteburner is able to output plain MP3, WMA, WAV files with desirable encoding settings from below formats: MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPC, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC / Ogg FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, AU, SND, CDDA, WMA, APE, APL, M4P, etc.

Now, let’s check how to use NoteBurner with foobar2000.

Launch Foobar2000, select the music you want to convert, and right click on them, select menu Convert > Write Audio CD…:

(Note: You need to have a foo_burninate.dll in the Components folder of Foobar2000 before seeing above Write Audio CD in the menu. Otherwise, you should download it and then put it in the right place. Normally, the full path of this folder is C:\Program Files\foobar2000\components , and the download link for this dll file is http://www.foobar2000.org/components/foo_burninate.zip. And please make sure that you have Nero installed too, since that this component requires Nero to enable its writing function.)

An audio CD writer window will appear as below. Please remember to select “NoteBurn Virtual_CD-RW” as burning device, and click Burn:

Foobar2000 starts writing audio CD:
foobar2000 starts writung virtual CD

And NoteBurner will start encoding later:
NoteBurner M4P Converter starts encoding added files to target format
(Note: Please run Foobar2000 and NoteBurner at the same time, otherwise, this encoding window will not appear and the conversion will fail.)

After a while, your music would be converted successfully. Right click on the music files in NoteBurner and select Open File Location, and then you can locate them immediately.
