What is DRM

DRM is short for Digital Rights Managements. Most of iTunes music are M4P files with DRM protection. DRM is a generic term that refers to access control technologies used by hardware manufacturers, publishers and copyright holders to limit usage of digital media or devices. And iTunes store, as the biggest online music retailer, is selling M4P songs with Fairplay -- Apple's version of Digital Rights Managements. And the DRM prevents people from listening M4P songs on the Cowon A3 or other players.
